How Do I Vote on Proposals from Other Group Members?
Return To Help Topic IndexProposals from Group MembersWhen you are part of a group, any and all changes to the group's membership, or to the trails controlled by the group, or to the group's charities must be voted on by the group. Each such change may be proposed by any group member. Changes that win a majority vote of the group are put into effect, while changes that do not achieve a majority vote are not made. If a complete majority vote is not available by one week from the time of the proposed change, then a majority of the members actually voting is used to determine the outcome. For example, if there are ten members of a group, then six members must vote for a change to represent a complete majority. But if only six members have voted by one week from the time the change was proposed, then only four votes are required to represent a majority of those actually voting. Voting on Proposals from Group MembersYou may become aware of a change request from another member in one of two ways. If you go to My Nest, you will see your Inbox, and all group changes requiring a vote create a message in your Inbox. In addition, if you opt to receive email from AntStorm, we will also send an email to the email address associated with your account notifying you of a change request requiring your attention.
